The Czech-based media platform for IPTV and OTT services Nangu.TV has appointed Ivo Korcak as its new CEO.
He will take over from Michal Kozisek, who will remain on the board of directors.
In his new role, Korcak will be required to ensure continued success in the ongoing O2 TV project; expand the service and grow user numbers year-on-year; and continue the development of the IPTV / OTT platform with the addition of new features and expansion of the business abroad.
He has previously held posts at T-Mobile, Vodafone, UnicreditBank, RaiffeisenBank, AV Media and LMC.
Commenting on his appointment Korcak said, “I’m delighted to join nangu.TV as CEO and lead the company through its next stage of evolution. As the OTT and IPTV markets continue to gather pace, driven on by consumers’ demand for content, however and wherever they want it, nangu.TV is perfectly placed to address the needs of ISPs, telcos and cable operators. I’m looking forward to working with the experienced team at nangu.TV and to using my own expertise and knowledge to drive the company forward.”
