SMiT announced its strategic investment in iBoxpay

July 18, 2013, Shenzhen. SMiT, a global-leading operation platform provider for secure distribution of paid contents, today announced the completion of its strategic investment in Shenzhen iBoxpay Information Technology C0., Ltd (iBoxpay).

iBoxpay is the first payment company that pass Unionpay’s security certificate in China. Different from other third-party payment entrepreneurial companies, iBoxpay positions itself as as a technology provider for mobile payment. While iBoxpay integrates many payment types, its products such as personal mobile POS box and Money Box still maintains high level of security. As for now the number of transactions has exceeded a million times with overall amount more than a billion yuan.

SMiT aims at bettering the industrial layout in pay TV and mobile internet through strategic investments. This will help to improve the competitiveness of its technology platform, and enhance the synergistic development with other projects.
