Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) ended the second quarter with 394,000 TV customers, or 5.1% more than in the same period in 2013.
Of these, 337,000 were IPTV (+0.3%), 6,000 cable (0.5%) and 50,000 satellite (56.3%).
TV APRU meanwhile stood at HRK81 (€10.6) up by 9.1% on a year earlier, driven by premium content (additional programme packages, VOD etc.) and enriched exclusive TV content with MAX Auto Moto GP (Formula One) and HBO premium (including HBO GO streaming service) TV packages.
Despite operating in a difficult economic environment, T-HT managed to slow its revenue decline in the first half of 2014.
The HRK3.3 billion represented a fall of 5.2%, compared to the 6% seen a year earlier. EBITDA in H1 amounted to HRK1.2 billion (-10%) and net income HRK401 million (-29.5%).
