Nearly half (45%) of Czech TV households received HD services as of the end of 2015.
According to data produced by Nielsen Admosphere for the Association of Television Organisations (ATO), this compared to only 15% three years earlier.
DVB-T was the most popular way of watching HD services (17%) as of the end of 2015, followed by satellite (16%) and cable or IPTV (13%).
The research also noted that HD services are often taken by households from higher socioeconomic groups.
