LJUBLJANA — Telekom Slovenije has published its Unaudited Business Report of the Telekom Slovenije Group and Telekom Slovenije for the period January – September 2013.
Telekom Slovenije Group companies recorded growth in the number of connections. The number of fixed broadband connections was up 2% over the first nine months of this year to reach 348,766. The number of mobile telephony users was up 7% to stand at 2,234,166, while the number of TV connections was up 12% to reach 313,965.

In Slovenia, at the end of September 2013, the company had 128,527 IPTV subscribers, up 2.5% year-on-year, giving it an estimated IPTV market share of 55%, down 1.3 percentage points compared with the end of September 2012.
Significant events
March – With its TVim service, Ipko (Kosovo) offers its users online digital television, smart phones and tablet computers. The TVim service was developed by TSmedia and functions on the same platform as Telekom Slovenije’s SiOL TViN internet TV service.
June – Telekom Slovenije offers all of its Itak subscribers the use of the new advanced Itak Plejs service, which combines the most advanced web TV, video-on-demand and internet multimedia storage services in one place. Itak users may use the S package, which includes 10 GB of data transfer and access to Red Bull videos and the TV listing free-of-charge until the end of 2013.
July – Telekom Slovenije includes the popular YouTube website in its SiOL TV service. This allows users to view and exchange videos that they may comment on and rate. YouTube for the TV screen is simple to manage, while video content is adapted to TV viewers.
