Chinese video delivery solutions provider, Wellav Technologies, has acquired Locostream OTT end-to-end technology solution and B2B solution team from IVMALL, multiscreen television solutions provider.
With this acquisition, Wellav will provide end-to-end digital video broadcasting along with OTT platform. IVMALL will focus on the B2C platforms.
“This acquisition can help Wellav establish an integrated DVB+OTT platform, with Wellav’s existing digital headend technologies (including both chip-based and server-based transcoding), which is widely needed by the existing customers who plan to expand their video services for better revenue gain and customer base,” said Bill Zou, President of Wellav Technologies.
