The Moscow-based cable operator Akado invested over R200 million (€3.5 million) in its subsidiary in Ekaterinburg last year.
According to Comnews, it built new networks in the city reaching 48,000 homes and at the same time upgraded 10,200 homes.
Its subscriber total at the end of the year stood at over 130,000, and 15,000 switched from analogue to digital services.
Akado’s plans for Ekaterinburg this year include the introduction of cloud-based services.
