KPN’s Belgian subsidiary Base has racked up 25,000 TV customers during its first year of operation.
The operator launched the triple play service a year ago on the Belgian market in order to compete with Telenet and Belgacom.
During the first three months of operation, Snow managed to gain 15,000 new subscribers, with just 10,000 new sign-ups during the following nine months.
Snow offers a basic package of TV channels to which people can add more channels on an a la carte basis.
93% of all Snow customers take the full triple play offer, the remainder just the TV and broadband access package.
