Revenues also increased by 1.9% as operating profit increased by 34.1%. EBITDA in the third quarter of 2013 amounted to NIS 138 million compared with NIS 118 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago, an increase of 16.9%.
“During the quarter we upgraded our billing and CRM systems allowing us to continue to provide the highest quality of customer service. We are pleased to see that our technological superiority, along with rich and diverse content as well as our emphasis on excellence in customer service are reflected in our results,” said Ron Eilon, CEO, YES.
The increase in revenues was primarily due to the subscriber increase as well as a rise the average revenue per subscriber (ARPU), which came to NIS 233 compared with NIS 231 in the corresponding quarter of 2012.
