SES Astra’s German DTH platform HD+ had reached 1,280,783 paying homes on September 30, a growth of 35% this year.
The total number of HD+ homes has now reached almost 2.68 million, of which 1,4 million are still in the free 12-month trial period.
During the third quarter of the year 87,899 subscribers were added, a total of 519,327 were added during the past twelve months.
The platform is also expanding the offer of it hybrid HD+ RePlay service, using the HbbTV standard, which allows people to access catch-up TV programming up till seven days ago.
Programming from Sat.1, ProSieben and kabel eins will be added later this autumn, in addition to programming from RTL Now, Vox Now, Super RTL Now and n-tv Now. More channels will follow.
