Zeonbud starts to decode channels

The Ukrainian DTT operator Zeonbud has decoded 15 TV channels that form part of its offer.

According to ProIT, they are part of the Universal Service Programme (UPU) and include New Channel, STB, TET, IT-1, Ukraina, Mega, M1, K-1, Inter, ICTV, 5 Kanal, 2+2 and 1+1.

Although Zeonbud has taken the action following a ruling by the regulator, its compliance is so far only partial.

Indeed, the company says it impossible to decode all the channels and it has decoded different channels on different multiplexes.

The regulator (National Council) believes that such an action creates unequal conditions for channels that are still encrypted.
